Fluffydolls Catfe House Rules
Our cats live together in a group setting. They have their own routines, friends, resting spots, food, water, playtime, and a comfortable environment.
Unlike a house cat who depends on one owner for food, play, and attention, our cats already have their daily needs met here. This means they may not always feel the need to approach people or seek attention.
That does not mean they are unfriendly. It simply means they are cats with choices.
The best way to enjoy them is to be calm, respectful, and patient. When you give them space and let them feel safe, many of them are happy to stay beside you and interact in their own way.
Please follow these rules:
Do not chase, grab, block, or force interaction. If a cat walks away, turns away, pushes your hand away, or seems uninterested, please stop.
Do not place your hand in front of the cat’s nose or move your hand towards their face. Their face and whiskers are sensitive.
If a cat is relaxed beside you, gently stroke the back only, following the direction of the fur.
Give only 2 to 3 gentle strokes, then pause for 20 to 30 seconds. Even friendly cats should not be patted nonstop, as too much touch can overstimulate them and make them feel uncomfortable.
No head pats, belly rubs, paws, tail, whiskers, face, rough rubbing, or tapping.
Do not lift or carry any cat. Our cats are allowed to choose where they want to be.
Stay calm and move slowly. No running, jumping, sudden movements, loud noises, or excited gestures.
Do not shout at, correct, or call our cats naughty. You are entering their space, and they are allowed to behave naturally.
The Fluffydolls Way
This space is not about forcing interaction. It is about learning how to share a room with cats respectfully.
Some cats may come close. Some may sit beside you. Some may simply nap nearby.
All of these are normal cat behaviours.
When you respect their boundaries, you help us make our cats feel safe, so everyone can truly enjoy their curious, trusting, and sometimes silly nature.
